Account information
When you register with GuyanaNet, you will be asked to choose a user name and password for authentication purposes. You are also provided with a GuyanaNet email address. This e-mail address will be used to send you information about your account (including invoices for your Internet service) and GuyanaNet promotions. You may elect not to receive such promotions.

We may occasionally ask our customer service representatives to contact you by telephone as part of a survey of our services. You will able to choose at the time whether or not you want to take part in that survey.

Should you choose GuyanaNet, you will also be asked to provide your name, address, and telephone number for authentication purposes and to help prevent network abuse.

GuyanaNet will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. GuyanaNet may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic and related information to third parties, but these statistics include no personally identifying information.

Customer Payment Information
If you chose GuyanaNet, payment and other personal information will be shared with our payment service providers if absolutely necessary.

How does GuyanaNet protect customers' personal privacy?
GuyanaNet uses up to date industry procedures to keep personal data as safe and secure as possible and protect against loss, unauthorised disclosure or access. Please remember that you are responsible for protecting your password/user name and must not share it or allow its disclosure it to anyone.
