1. Close all open programmes on your computer and make sure that you are seeing your Desktop
2. Double click on My Computer
3. Double click on Control Panel
4. Double click on Network and Dial-up Connections . Double click on Make New Connection
5. Click on Next
6. Select the option ‘Dial-up to the Internet'. Click Next
7. Select the third option. Click Next .
8. Select the first option. Click Next
9. Type in the telephone number 2235432 and remove the check mark from the option ‘Use are code and dialing rules'. Click Next
10. Type your username and password in the spaces provided. Your username is the first part of your email address, e.g. if your email address is username@Guyana.net.gy then your username is ‘username'. Click Next
11. Give your connection a name – type ‘ Digital Connection'
13. Remove the tick from the option. Click Finish . You should now be at the Dial-up Networking window again
14. Right click on the Digital Connection icon and select the option ‘Create Shortcut'. You will receive dialog box asking you if the shortcut should be placed on the desktop. Click the ‘ YES' button.
You should now see an icon labeled ‘Shortcut to Digital Connection' on your Desktop.
15. Double click on the Digital Connection shortcut on your Desktop click Dial .
Your computer will then dial-up to GuyanaNet.
